Recycle for First Responders

Martin Naro of Bayport and alumni of Bayport-Blue Point High School started a recycling technology roughly a year ago called EvTek. During this time EvTek has shifted their focus into Bottles For The Brave which is a campaign to support our local healthcare workers, first responders and restaurants.

How it works is they collect deposit containers from your curb. With the money generated from the deposit containers they are purchasing food from local restaurants like Flo's in Blue Point to feed healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
